Nurturing Hope currently offers professional counseling to adults, children, & families in Sylacauga and the surrounding areas. Nurturing Hope was created out of a desire to foster hope for others while understanding this often needs to be nurtured by an outside person. It offers a place of refuge through counseling by helping people make sense of what is going on in their lives and encouraging positive lifelong changes.
"For everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more." Luke 12:48
"Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?" Matthew 6:26
Welcome
Welcome! If we were face-to-face, we would offer you something to drink, but until then, we hope you have found a moment of peace to peruse the site. We are thrilled that you have stopped by to learn more about the services we are currently offering.
Nurturing Hope holds the belief that everyone is made in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27). This includes all people from different backgrounds with an innate desire to connect with others. The heart of Nurturing Hope is to help hurting people in ways in which God has equipped us. We look beyond diagnoses and behaviors to understand the unique story of each client. We believe God's beautiful design of people encompasses more than behaviors. Nurturing Hope is designed to be a safe place for people to work with an authentic therapist to help heal emotional wounds.
We enjoy meeting new clients and consider ourselves fortunate to be invited into people's lives. We enjoy the process of connecting with our clients and believe this to be an igniting factor in the therapy process. Clients have taught us so many invaluable things that have been a huge part of our journeys in serving others. We do take an active approach to therapy to ensure we are working towards the goal(s) you have set in therapy-because your time is precious.
